The abstracts submitted in occasion of the 8th GALP Open Day were accepted, so now it’s time to work on the presentations! Angelo will present the result of a study carried out in the Matera High (in southern Italy) discussing the contrasting deformation mechanisms within porous and tight carbonate rocks (1); Paolo will show a new attribute-based fault & fracture enhancement, interpretation and validation workflow recently developed using 3D data (2). In the ambit of the energy transition, the team will also discuss a case study example on a carbonate reservoir by assessing the redevelopment of possible geothermal potential based on a reservoir modelling work conducted in collaboration with Primera Resources (3). For those of you who will attend the event, we hope to see you on Monday (3), Tuesday (2) and Wednesday (1) next week!
