GEPlan offers remote sensing analysis and interpretation. Many exploration studies require a regional approach that is often difficult due to the lack of information: in these cases, remote sensing techniques represent a good tool to obtain regional information.
We have experience in using Landsat ETM+, ASTER , Hyperion, SPOT and aerial visible and hyperspectral imagery, coupled with SRTM and ASTER elevation data.
Main products of this method are lineament analysis, geological mapping and mineral research. To obtain the best results in geological mapping from remote sensing techniques, we normally need a direct calibration on the field of the imagery, using mobile GIS systems coupled with DGPS.
All data are treated in a GIS environment, in order to satisfy the requirements of our customers.
