Tomorrow our colleague Paolo will attend the AAPG conference in Vienna, where he will show a study done in the Kura Basin in Georgia, concerning “The Control of Pre-Existing Faults on the Development of Thrust-Related Folds in the Kura Foreland Fold-and-Thrust Belt”. The Kura Basin has recently gained quite a lot of interest from small to big oil companies considering the remarkable discoveries from previous exploration activity carried out in the area and the underexplored HC potential!
