RESERVOIR CHARACTERISATION
Complex Reservoirs
Complex reservoirs are characterised by the interplay of different factors in the development of the reservoir properties of the field.
The reservoir characteristics become difficult to analyse/interpret when the following parameters come into play:
- Fracturing and faulting;
- Complex distribution of primary and secondary petrophysical properties;
- Relationship between the structural elements and the “matrix” charcateristics;
- Structural features and diagenetic evolution.
Our team is working on complex reservoirs around the world, to supply our customers with the best solutions for their needs in modelling. We have an integrated approach to better understand complex reservoirs, often using outcrop analogues to enhance the “vision” of the complex relationship between the different features.
